Have you heard about Edward Paisnel, aka the Beast of Jersey, who assaulted women and kids from 1957 to 1971 ? He wore a scary mask that maybe had impact on Tobe and Kim while creating the Leatherface character.

thats interesting, the mask sure looks like something you would see in TCM, but as far as im aware, the only real inspiration Tobe mentioned was Ed Guin, and even then he said he only heard of him through “folklore” told by his family to him when he was younger because Guin lived near his area, he only found out it was guin after making the movie, Tobe seemed really disinterested in true crime shit, so im not sure if this little bitch had any influence in the movie, interesting similarity tho!
