I think for something claiming to be a direct sequel to the original it does NOT characterize leatherface right. And I don’t think the use of racial slurs is good either- also I’m not TOOOO fond of the bus scene as much as people tend to praise it.

, that movie is so forgetable, and its worst that it tried to make commentaries on real social issues in the most corny ways possible, it screams mediocre

The entire film is terrible. The fact the director called himself a “fan” of the original and uses the wrong chainsaw blows my mind.

Yeah it’s definitely not a great movie imo. It feels like it was just trying to quickly cash in on the success of Halloween 2018 the way they brought back Sally’s character in a similar fashion. It just had so many things in it that didn’t feel at home in a TCM movie. Don’t blame ya at all.

I didn’t mind it but I think I would love anything with a TCM title:sweat_smile: definitely could have been better, didn’t like how obvious they copied Halloween in the story, I liked how the ending wasn’t so happy when the girl got caught lacking and took a chainsaw to the neck

I didn’t like it, but like most of you, I’ll always watch them.
The last shot was pretty great though, possibly post credits?
